Erica, limited premium Raka Range. A mere 1250 bottles were produced, a testament to their exclusivity. Matured for 36 months in new French oak barrels. During the 36 months the Cabernet Sauvignon received further new French barrels, when it was racked after only one year and then returned to new first fill barrels, where it matured for a further 24 months. The Erica Cabernet Sauvignon is well rounded, spicy and supple. The fruit on the nose is upfront – black currant, dark berries and slight earthy tones. The palate is bold enough to counter 3 years maturing in all new oak and reflects the same fruity tones as the bouquet with a slight clove and pepper undertone. A full lingering finish with integrated tannins
